Meet the Facilitators

Lisa Zigo

Lisa began her banking career in 1991, spending the first decade in credit risk and managing credit administration. In 2005, she also took on the role of Compliance Officer. She later served as Senior Vice President, Director of Operations.

In early 2012, Lisa entered the consulting arena focusing on regulatory compliance in community banks, providing training, policies, compliance reviews and comprehensive CMS programs. In 2015 Lisa partnered with a long-time friend and colleague to form Sterling Compliance, LLC, furthering the vision they shared for bringing a balanced perspective to clients for practical approaches to regulatory compliance with battle-tested, effective results.

Angela Herrera

Angela Herrera joined the Sterling Compliance team in 2018 after spending the better part of a decade in community banking. Having observed her great work ethic, willingness and quickness to learn, Angela was sought out by the principals of a de novo community bank to be part of its initial team in deposit operations. Being part of a small community bank allowed Angela to develop a depth of knowledge across multiple functions. A few years later, desiring to expand her knowledge and her role within the company, Angela took a position in compliance where she further cultivated her skill sets in compliance risk management. Upon the bank’s acquisition in 2018, Angela joined Sterling Compliance, bringing her hands-on perspective to the firm’s clients and complementing the staff in expertise and well-balanced guidance.

Ginger McCullough

Ginger McCullough, CRCM, joined Sterling Compliance in the spring of 2021. She began her career with a mid-size institution in 2003 and gained valuable experience working through various functions of the bank. Ginger moved into a compliance oversight role in 2013 and is a product of the Dodd-Frank era where she developed a keen ability to effectively decipher and implement complex and rapidly changing regulations and develop helpful tools and compliance aids for affected departments. Most recently, Ginger served as the bank’s Compliance Officer, building and implementing a highly effective compliance risk management program that created operational efficiencies while ensuring adherence to consumer protection laws. She brings extensive knowledge of consumer protection regulations, sharp perspective and a particular passion for Fair Lending and CRA.

Tracy Jones

Tracy Jones joined the Sterling Compliance team in early 2020, bringing more than 20 years of experience in community bank compliance. Tracy’s expertise spans branch operations, lending, CRA, BSA | AML and compliance risk management. She honed her leadership skills through her supervision of compliance, BSA and CRA functions. Tracy’s wealth of knowledge and her warmth, professionalism and desire to utilize her experience are a great fit with the culture of excellence and client service at Sterling.
