 This new program is designed to equip aspiring retail branch leaders, starting with a self-assessment of their strengths and gaps in the key success factors for the role of branch management. Participants will learn about branch business and action planning, objective and expectation-setting, feedback and coaching fundamentals, and tactics for developing team and individual skills in sales and customer service. Emerging Leader Program

LEVEL 1 OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The Emerging Leader Program (ELP) is an annual leadership development program designed to build competencies and confidence for your next generation of community bank leaders. Participants will be guided through Five Exemplary Leadership Practices®, DISC® communication styles, Strengths Finder® and the basics of Performance Management and Development, concluding with their individual presentation to build executive presence. Networking Forums

CBAO University’s networking forums meet regularly and facilitate idea exchange among peers of a specific job family. Forum attendees discuss what’s currently going on in the industry with regards to their role and ways to improve in their area.

 

Barret School of Banking

The Paul W. Barret, Jr. School of Banking is a non-profit independent school created by and governed by a Board of Regents, whose members are executives from banks and other firms involved with the financial services industry. The mission of the School is to provide an adult learning experience for the career-oriented individuals in commercial banking or related financial services industry business.
